Mary Devlin is a professional librarian, a master teacher, and
an excellent communicator. She is certified as a Neuro-Linguistic
Programming (NLP) master practitioner and trainer, and is qualified
to purchase, administer, and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
(MBTI) psychological inventory. Mary was awarded a National Library
of Medicine (NLM) fellowship to study medical informatics at the
Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in 2001-2003.

library experience includes library and management positions
at PORTALS (1999-2001), the University of Portland, and Portland
General Electric. Mary also has worked as an independent Library
and Information Management Consultant and as sales manager for vendors.
Mary has always been actively involved
in her profession and in her community. She has served on city
and state planning boards and professional library association boards.
She also is active in the country dance community.
